Counseling Groups
Groups are held throughout the year depending upon need. Sometimes the group is offered in-person and sometimes through a virtual format, depending upon interest. Groups are typically 6-8 weeks, and each group meeting is 1.5 hours. Please contact me for more information and to be placed on a waitlist.
College Group
Are you a college student who has gone through a significant loss and feel somewhat isolated in your grief?
Losing a parent, friend, or sibling can feel incredibly isolating, especially when trying to share your grief with those who haven’t experienced a similar loss. Being in a safe, supportive space with others who understand can be deeply reassuring. This group offers a welcoming environment to talk openly about loss, process your feelings, and learn more about the grief journey. If you’re looking for support, this may be a meaningful opportunity for you.
Overdose & Substance Use-Related Loss
Have you lost a loved one after a battle with drugs or alcohol?
Losing someone to substance use disorder can be an especially heartbreaking and isolating experience. This group offers a caring, welcoming space where you can share your story, process your feelings, and connect with others who truly understand this kind of loss. Together, you’ll find empathy, understanding, and shared wisdom, while gently learning more about the grief process and exploring the complex emotions that often come with this type of loss.
Caregivers
Are you a caregiver for a family member who is suffering with a long term, chronic, and/or terminal illness such as cancer, Alzheimer's Disease, or Parkinson's Disease?
While it may feel nearly impossible to find time to care for yourself, having a space to receive support is essential. This group offers an opportunity to process feelings of compassion fatigue, isolation, and anticipatory grief, while also learning practical self-care tools and ways to strengthen your support system during this demanding time.
